How To - Raising a Manual Invoice


  1. Accepted orders can be opened for bothviewing and invoicing

  2. Select the Accepted Order in the Orders Search window to open the order.



  3. Select Create Invoice.


  4. The invoice can be created as it is, or modified to change any of the following elements:
    • Invoice Reference- Enter an invoice reference for this manual invoice. This field is mandatory.
    • Invoice Date - Select the Invoice Date field to display a calendar drop-down. Choose the invoice date from the calendar. This field is mandatory.
    • Quantity - Modify the quantity if required.
    • Unit Cost - Modify the unit cost before tax if required.
    • Tax Rate - Choose the tax rate to be applied to each item.
    • Tax Amount - Modify the tax amount if required

    If the tax amount has been changed manually, and you want to revert to a pre-defined tax rate, you need to refresh your browser before selecting a new tax rate


  5. To add a new item to the invoice, select the icon and choose the required item from the Add Item to Invoice window


  6. When complete, select Create Invoice to add the invoice, and OK to confirm.
  7. The new invoice is added to the Invoices and Credit Notes page.
  8. An invoice is issued and the order assumes a status of Invoiced.
